A family affair
With 20 years of catering and restaurant experience collectively, this formidable mother and son team share a passion for cooking, quality food and excellent service, and have been sharing their creative culinary cuisine with the Garden Route since January 2005.
Jean-Pierre Lenferna De la Motte qualified as a chef at the Warwick Chef School in Hermanus, a school with an affiliation with renowned French Chef, Roger Vergè. His list of culinary conquests is as decadent as the sumptuous dishes he creates, and includes 5-star boutique hotels in Camp’s Bay, The Twelve Apostles and The Village Hotel on the Spier Wine Estate. He also worked as a private in-house chef for European residents in Plettenberg Bay, and is currently a member of the Chain des Rotisseurs (Worldwide Gastronomic society).
Sue Lenferna De la Motte has been in the catering industry since 1987. Before venturing into the gastronomic arena with Top 2 Catering Logistics in 2005, she was a partner in a catering business in Plettenberg Bay, managed the catering side of functions at a Guest Lodge in Plettenberg Bay, and assisted at the renowned Islander Restaurant. Catering was not only in her heart, but also in her genes!
